I love this site. I am using it to educate myself on the coolest cars ever built!
What I need is a contact in the Ft. Worth Tx area to help me, when I find one. I am more than willing to compenstate for the trouble. I just know I will fall for shiny chrome/paint and miss something really important

Try contacting your local chapter of NCRS (National Corvette Restoration Society). Someone will help you out. You can also consider an appraisal company like these guys. They have people who specialize in Corvettes.
