Default House down the block changed hands....

new family moved in yesterday. Drove past on the way to work this morning to see a 74 or so Vette in the driveway. Guess I'll be paying a visit this weekend. C-3"s now outnumber the C-2's & C-5" & 6"s

It's always a good thing for new neighbors to add to the 'hood. Here's to wishing everyone involved, common interests and a great place to live!

Cool! I have a buddy across town with 2 vettes, one a 61, the other a 69 which he's had for almost 20 years and is currently rebuilding the engine & suspension. There's several other C-3 owners in town as well.
Even better for you that he's on your street!

Speaking of "new move in's" and corvettes.... anyone wanting to own a corvette, I was looking with "corvette" under a local classifieds website, and found a home for sale in Utah that comes with one :

man, i don't know ANYONE with a corvette, no less a c3. my friends and neighbors are a bunch of lame asses yuppies when it comes to cars; late model bimmers, audi's, suv's, etc. i've got 3 friends with the same damn infiniti fx45 (or whatever that suv is), and 2 neigbors with the same audi s5. one buddy with a brand new m3 and thinks it's the shiznit, a g37, lets see, a gtr, too many 3 series's to count... that's cool to have some vette bros in the 'hood

Oh there's plenty of those too, my buddy around the block has a BMW 535i and a 3 series. But there's also my 70, a 72 coupe, a black 78,blue 77, the new 74 or so, and original owner 64 convertible, 63 split window coupe with a blown 383, a 2008 Z06, and a red 2009 coupe. Plus a 70 GTO judge, 67 Chevelle SS 396, 29 T bucket, Jeep CJ with a worked SBC, and of course my 69 Mustang. All that in about 4 blocks

Its a fun neighborhood, especially if we all start up around the same time

wow, I'm moving there....I don't think there is another vette near me.

I moved in to my girlfriends house and every car is a honda with 3 rims and one donut, painted flat black hood, plastic exhaust tips...well...you get the picture

One of my neighbors had a C6 - black on black vert - very pretty car. He would be outside washing it every week when the sun was out and his garden hose wasn't frozen solid. He sold it for a new Cadillac!
