Default Clutch Fork Boot Replacement - ?

While detailing my engine bay, I noticed that my original clutch fork boot is split in half.

I'm just wondering if replacing it is as easy as it looks. Anything special I should know before I go ahead?

Thanks.

Since you'll need to remove the Z-bar adjustment pivot from the link, measure where it is on the shaft before you remove it so you can get it back in the same place later.

I believe the Z-bar and clutch rod can stay together. Just the clevis pin and 1 spring need to be pulled from the clutch fork to replace the rubber fork boot.
Regards,
Alan

Thanks for the info ... the boot was out in only a minute.

Now all I gotta do is find a replacement ... I see that it's a vette vendor catalog item.

Is that the normal source or can it be purchased locally?

I'd think it was the same on zillions of Chevrolets. Might still be a Dealer Parts Department item.
