Preparing to glass the bumper on to the body. What are the best products to use to bond and fill. I have searched and heard all the horror stories regarding fit and all. Just want to use the good stuff to get the best job. TIA
I will soon be bonding my new rear bumper to the car and filling the join line. Make sure that both surfaces are clean but roughed up, hang the bumper on the with the T bolts and nuts leaving a bit of a gap. Apply 3M8115 panel bonding adhesive into the gap and bolt the bumper up.
After the full cure time (24hours) grind a bit of a V into your join line and fill with more 8115.
But, I like Lord Fusor 148. Also, I'm assuming you are bonding and blending fiberglass bumper covers...trying to do this with urethane bumper covers is not recommended.

Im using the tru flex. I should have gotten just the regular glass one. The tru flex is actually fairly firm. I made some mounting plates with steel. I tapped them and put a screw thru it. This will get a bolt on the inside (backside). Whats the working time on the products you mentioned?
