I am in the process of converting to Hydoboost. One of our sons picked up a Hydroboost from a 2001 Silverado 2500 but it's missing one of the master cylinder studs. I can't find them anywhere online.
Does anybody have any they would sell me? (I already posted a WTB ad in For Sale.)
Or do you know where I can them?
Obviously these aren't bolts I can buy at my corner hardware store.
BTW, the total cost of the "kit" he is making for me is about $250, he is machining a custom aluminum spacer/mounting plate for me for food and beer.
Go walk the lot with a ratchet. Not sure if these places save those studs. I think it is metric IIRC.
You should also get the nuts to fit this as your originals dont quite match it seems. I forced mine on. If I ever need to loosen them, Im sure Ill need to be replacing these studs as well.
I’m not sure, but I would think this is something the GM dealer could get.
That's what I thought when I bought the booster at John's Auto Parts knowing it was missing a stud. (That's why they gave me 1/3 off the price.) I checked at the local Chevy dealer yesterday. They said dealers don't sell the studs separate from the booster.

Good Luck
Hydoboost boosters and master cylinders are two of those parts John's takes off and inventories themselves.
I decided to just use M10 bolts instead. The original stud has M12 and M10 studs. I am just going to put a brass bushing over the part of the bolt that goes through the booster. It helps to have a son who is a CNC machinist.
