Default Horn/steering wheel screw help

I ordered a new wheel/hub/horn/emblem (the works) and want to go to a car show this weekend, because I had a non corvette wheel from a previous owner that i hate. I have it all installed, but apparently forgot to order the 3 screws that fasten the horn emblem to the wheel. does anyone know what size those are (I'm guessing standard thread) so I can pick up some from home depot on the way home and have the crossed flag look for all to admire . Thanks in advance.

Oh, and due to how the wheel is made, my guess is that one screw is longer than the other two due to how the bottom of the new hub is made...is that correct?

Thanks,
--Donnie

Is there a Chevy dealer on your way home? You might call the parts department and ask them to see what size they are.

I believe the hub adapters are 1/4" coarse thread but they also have a shoulder on the bolt shank where they pass through the contact plate.

Go to the Grant steering wheel site, they should have the info you need.

The three screws holding the horn button spring-clip retainer to the steering column are 1-1/2" long, #8-32NC, Phillips-drive, round-head screws with star retaining washers. (P.S. I have a '71 tilt-tele column; hope it's the same).

1-1/2" seems kinda long. i just want to make sure we are talking about the same screws. It is the 3 that secure horn button to the hub through the steering wheel? Thanks again for your time. It is much appreciated. (mine is a 70 no T/Tele but I think it's the same). Thanks again in advance for the clarification.

The three screws which attach the stamped-steel ring with the spring-clip fingers all the way around it....they are 1-1/2" long screws [on mine]. Maybe the tilt-tele is different from yours. If you have a long, #8 screw laying around, stick it in one of the holes and see how far it goes and if it engages properly.

Thanks again for everybody's help. I got the right ones (finally). In case anybody else was having the same problem, the screw for the 70 non tilt/tele is #8 32 3/8". Talk to ya'll soon.
