Default Rear view mirror question? 1977

The car is almost done. I mean almost as in a few weeks. As I was gattering some of my new parts that I bought I dropped the brand new rear view mirror on the floor. Before I even picked it up I knew that it was broken.
Aside from buying a new one, what are my options? I mean it looks like any ordinary GM rear view mirror.

I had my original rear view mirror (68) restored by Paragon. I don't remember the cost, but I don't think it was all that much. Came back looking like new. They replaced the glass, polished the stainless steel (the 68 mirror assembly has a SS body), etc.

I changed mine. I went with a new one with outside temp, composs, garage door open and night glare protection

I have serviced the rear view mirrors that have broken and teh housing is still in good condition with a new day/night mirror. The outer rubber gasket can be slowly rolled back so the old mirror can be removed and a new glass mirror installed.
