Default Need '79 step by step steering column help

It has been over a month now since I took apart my steering column. I can almost remember where everything goes and in order, but I just want to make sure. It is a T/T column. I would love a good step by step instruction. Can anyone help?

Just how far did you take it apart? What was wrong with the T&T in the first place? Column out of the car? Turn signal switch out? Lock cylinder out?

My papers on the 1969-82 Corvette steering columns start with just working on the "head" part of the steering column while it is still in the car. Replacing the lock cylinder and key warning buzzer.

The second paper addresses pulling the column out of the car and then replacing the ignition switch, turn signal switch, dimmer switch, and lower bearing.

The third paper addresses dimmer pivots, lock shoes, rack and sectors, and tightening support screws.

Download Tilt & Telescoping Column 69-82 Disassembly & Repair Papers #1, #2, & #3 as required.
Also Download T&T Column 69-82 D&R Pics #1, #2, & #3 as required.

Good luck,

I rebuilt my steering column a while back using your papers and I'd like to say thank you.
