Default Timing specs needed

Hi Guys,

If anyone knows what the factory timing specs are for a '69 coupe, with a 350/350 HP, it would be greatly appeciated.

Hi Flavio,
The 1969 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual states on page 16 of the specifications section:
RPO L46 350HP Corvette 8° BTDC at idle, 750 RPM.
Centrifugal Advance = (Crank degrees)
0 @ 1000 rpm
10° @ 1700 rpm
26° @ 5000 rpm
Vacuum Advance = (Crank Degrees)
0 @ 7" Hg.
15° @ 12" Hg.
BUT, if you have removed any of the smog equipment, or want your engine to run on today's gasoline, read Barry K's sticky on timing. Your car will probably run better.
And get yourself the Service Manual and AIM
