Default Highly recomend ZIP Products

Just want to share that once again ZIP products has gone beyond my expectiations on customer service.

Their prices are already in line with other vendors , but their same day shipping w/o a special charge to pull order same day beats at least one other major vendor.

Their S&H prices have always seemed fair to me for what I ordered.

But calling customer service has always resulted in more than I expected.

I ask that everyone consider giving them a chance on a future order

Thanks
David

They are excellent people to deal with. Excellent customer service when there is a problem. Unfortunately I have had problems with almost every power steering component I purchased from them. They finally got it right. Third time is a charm, but alot of work changing PS pumps that are defective and NEW PS lines that leak.

Agree. I trade with Paragon first and Zip second but there's not a nickel's worth of difference between the two companies. Both are great.

I've used Corvette Central and Zip for many, many small parts trying to improve my 69 and 62. They both have a great catalog and web site. They both suffer from little quality and fit problems that are probably normal with replacement parts. But Zip does definitly have better customer service operation. I do most of my buying from Zip now.

A couple of things I like about Zip is that they tell you immediately if the part you're ordering is in stock or not. They also say if you've ordered early enough for your order to still be shipped that day.

Alan

I'm lucky enough to live 20 minutes from their distribution center just outside Richmond, VA. CS is great walking in the door as well. They usually have half a dozen corvettes parked inside and out to ogle at (some for sale!), and instead of a register, there's a long open display counter with stools, almost like walking up to a bar. You can go in and sit down and just chat about vettes, ask advice, whatever. It's great. They also host local corvette shows - there's one coming up June 6th, I posted the flyer in the SE local board. I have their catalog, but I usually just walk in when I want something.

We have a lot of vendors or companies to order from, some great and then, well there's others. But Zip clearly stands heads and shoulders above just about all the others. They talk to you on a level that makes you realize your order is the most important, some other companies just act like their doing you a favor, and another has a policy of not selling to some of us. But what i like about ZIP, is their sales and customer service. I just placed a order about two weeks ago, and the gentleman I spoke with ( Bob) was really pleasent and informative about the exact product i was interested in. And before he'd take my credit card info, He said to me, I have to warn you of something. right now the GM warehouse is closed, we're not sure of an exact date when they'll start shipping to us, so please know that there are some things that are out of my hands, so. . ."

I told him I realize that today, everything in the automotive industry is up in the air, and yes, I'll be glad to wait for the parts to come in. In responce he said he'd save the one order I had placed and could be shipped and instead hold it till the other parts come in so that way I only get charged a one time shipping cost? Now how many people today are willing to be 'up front' with you and make an effort to save you a few bucks?

ZIP products is a excellant company run by people who are interested in you and your project. What a refreshing change from some others !
