Got my Radiator with the fans installed,
direct fit for a 71 auto, tried to set it in place
the electric fan housing is getting hung up on the A-arm
Do i need to remove the radiator support, or lossen it
attach the radiator then tighting up the support
or is there some way I'm not holding my mouth right
any help would be nice
Thanks KW
You could remove the fans from the radiator and install the radiator first, then re-install the fans onto the radiator. To remove the fans, remove the six philips head screws on the top and bottom channels. Do not remove the hex bolts, this will just complicate things. When re-installing the fans, you can use the existing screw holes but if the fans need to be re-centered between the a-arms, you can drive the self tapping screws in anywhere in the hollow channels.
I just love this. Here a CF Member has a problem/challenge w a part ordered from a Supporting Vendor. He gets a personal response from the vendor within 12 HOURS, where the vendor offers his help and a solution.
I hope this never changes. By this I mean with all the challenges we are facing in the U.S. right now, the demise of GM, the daily dismantling of our nation by an administration that promised to UPHOLD the U.S. Constitution, etc......
I am proud to be a Christian, a husband & father, an American, a Corvette owner, and a CF Member.

I was just asked the same question on the DC forum. My answer was not right now because we are going to Bloomington Gold with show specials and then Corvette@Carlisle eight weeks later. I feel we have to stick to this summer rule to keep car show alive. If you can shop for everything on the internet, these events will completely die out.
