'69 update w/pics
I made lots of progress in past few days:
- bad steering link replaced
- new p/s gear installed
- new rotors and organic pads
- rebuilt steering gear installed
- parking brake cables
- new prop shaft
- motor/tranny install
- Hurst attached
Headers are Hooker Super comp's - they fit really nice - especially around the steering box. Pypes slip fit system is next.
Thanks to Mike D from Dallas. He rebuilt the rear end and steering box and put in a full day helping with the motor install - not to mention the 20 minute Hurst install
Body is coming soon and paint will be a modern 986 silver metallic.

The frame makes a heck of a motor stand huh ! 
thats how I did mine too ! I slapped on some temp. gauges,
and fired it up and adjusted most things too !
