Default Has anyone painted there rally wheels to match there car?

Hi, i have a 76 black vette and i am wondering if any one out there has painted there rally wheels to match the color of the car? hopefully someone has done this on a black vette so i can see what it looks like!!

It really sticks out as being non-stock, but with a color changed '76 it probably goes with the car. The spinners... never cared for them on Rallys.

i know - I was just joking around cuz vettebuyer, for better or for worse, notoriously tends towards stock or at least period correct in his taste, and yeah, doesn't usally agree with alot on here so don't take it personal ... as for the rims, they're personally not my taste either but hey it's reversable. what i do like a little bit better is painted ralleys with trim rings but no centercap, or maybe even centercap but no trim ring. it just looks odd to my eye with both.

Okay I made it out to the shop. Here's a pic for you of my spinners. Got them at Wilcox and there are other designs also. They did not come with the center stickers. The stickers were hard to find and another member from here found them for me. Not cheap either.

I never thought of the idea of painting the rally wheels to match the car but it may just look alright. May have to think about it. Wish I was good at photoshop so I could do a pic of my car with it done.

Both. They are very incorrect looking and I just don't like the looks of them. One person's opinion; doesn't amount to much.

You guys are killing me...

You're half right... I don't usually agree with modifications suggested on here...

... again, just one guys taste... you asked for opinions... you'll get plenty that will love whatever modification you come up with.

The Rally's on my '79 are painted black. The spinners on in the picture looked pretty cool.
