rear diff and bat wing
Just picked up a rear diff and bat wing with f-glass spring before I realized "oh crap" that won't work on my 75. Or will it? Seems like I'd have to change the frame mounting brackets. Could this be done with the body on the frame or would it require body removal? Anything else? Anyone do this? Worth it for the weight savings? Advice helpful. If not a good idea to install anyone want to trade for something? Or buy it outright? In excellent shape. I believe it's from 82?

The 82 diffs are a lot weaker than the 79 and earlier iron units. Anything can be done but it is not really worth the effort. It would take quite a bit of work to get it in there. Get the correct iron unit and ditch the 82 unit.
