I'll start. In Chicago its lake shore drive. You run from Lake Cook Rd (Northside) south to downtown. Winding and fun drive.
Arizona - Sedona - winding curves and beautiful scenery. Right off 17 south of flagstaff
I've heard of dragon tale but I don't know where its located.

Highway 1 in CA. which follows along the coastline...not a stretch you can open up on but beautiful views and some nice tight corners that are fun even at mild speeds.
Blue-ridge Parkway - Virginia, another gorgeious drive

You guys already said the "tail of the dragon" i'm going there this july, i've read 318 curves in 11 miles, looking forward to it. Around here we have the shore line drive that runs along lake michigan, very nice drive and a little piece of road called the tunel of trees 119 up north again along lake michigan. I could go on some more there are alot of nice curvy roads within an hour of me.

US Highway 50 has many, many great stretches. One of my favorites is from Tahoe to Sacramento. Also east of Cincinnati has some excellent elevation changes and twisties.![Cheers!](https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums/images/smilies/cheers2.gif)

This is great stuff. A HUGE +1 to the Blue Ridge Parkway. Especially if you take it when the leaves are at their peak. I took trip there with my vette and my dad with his vette a few years ago and had a great weekend.
And another HUGE +1 to route 50 leaving Lake Tahoe going west. That's some beautiful country. I got to drive that one on my honeymoon in my dad's 94 vette.
Canadian Rt 1 through the Canadian Rockies, specifically the Banff and Lake Louise area, would be an AMAZING trip in a Corvette. I did it in an RV and it was pretty amazing then.
I've driven the stretch between Salt Lake City and Lake Tahoe in a corvette... there's not much to see, but radar detectors are legal, and I had the cruise set at 130... so that's fun.

Capell Valley Road that turns into Monticello Road, from Winters, California to Napa. It's a windy mountain road. They have signs that indicate a speed limit when you hit a small town, and as you leave the town the sign simply says "End of 30 mph Speed Limit". They never say what the actual speed limit is after you leave the town, so everyone in a sports car drives all out. It's a fun, fun road that I've driven in my '71 Roadster and my wife's Boxster S.

PCH is nice, but another candidate worthy of note here is Arkansas 7. Just ask Ralf Schumacher's brother if you can't take my word.
I like the twisty road up Haleakala, Maui, too. (Renting a real sports car is well worth the extra $ there!)
