The only major part that needs to be upgraded on the car is the brake setup. I have dumped alot of money into the car already and want to know what the best custom brake system out there is for the money is. I know wilwood makes some great stuff but is kinda pricey. I was aiming at 13 inch and up rotors and 4 or 6 piston calipers.
My wheel setup is 18 inch + so I can squeeze those suckers on.
I have 13.75" rotors front and rear using original 4-piston C-3 calipers on my 1980 road race replica. This modification can be done for about $600 if you can fabricate the mounting brackets to extend the caliper out approx. 1". I used EBC dimpled and slotted rotors. The only problem I have so far is I must engineer some type of parking brake setup, possibly using a small disc on the driveshaft etc. More info to come soon.

Have you thought about using a parking brake setup similar to a Ferrari or other big expensive brake type car...basically a small mechanical caliper on the rear rotor?
