At least the tools are outside the car. About 20 years ago I had a 77 and a tile buisness. My truck broke down and I had to finish a job that day because the customer was having a big party in two days. The only thing I could do was put all my hand tools, tile ,Target wet saw, Thin set, tile and grout in the vette. You should have seen it and the look on the customers face when I got to the job. I may have a picture of it I can post.

One of the guys in our Carlisle caravan owns a mint condition 66 350 horse 'vert that he bought in 67. It was his only car at the time and he was a hydraulics mechanic in the National Guard, so he hauled all his tools back and forth in the Vette on the weekends he was on duty. As nice as that car is today, you'd never know he did that, and given how meticulous he is, I bet you wouldn't have known it then either.
What a great gimick...I'd hire him just because, and mileage can't be any worse than the old trucks I see guys toting tools with. Cool.
I remember a pciture from a Corvette News back in the day where a 78 or 79 was pulling a pop-up trailer...it was taken by the car that was following and you couldn't see the Vette at all, just this dis-embodied camper floating down the road. Always thought it was so cool someone would actually tow a trailer with their car.
