I've started a google map with pins for corvette related items such as mechanics, salvage yards, cruise ins etc. It is public and open for editing, feel free to add any local information that you think would be beneficial for others searching for parts, car shows, swap meets, mechanics. Hopefully enough people will add information that it can take on a life of its own and become a useful resource.
OK, I added myself to the map. The only way I see to add pins is to type in the address or location in the search bar, then a pin will show up on the map. Click the pin, select save to my maps, then you can choose an icon and add a description.
Not sure if you need to be logged into google or not, I created an account for myself last night, all you need is an email address and create a password.

I too have played and repaired many C-3 in my years as a mechanic , now I do it for fun , I live in Russell Ont canada , and would love a pin in my location , willing to help a fellow vetter in distress , but I'm computer "slow" Ron
Just click the link to the map, type in your address, or if you don't want people to have your exact address, pick a place close by and google will put a pin at the location you entered.
From there, you just click on the pin and select save location, then follow the steps to enter in any info you want displayed and you can change the icon to whatever makes sense to you.
