Carb still floods
I rebuilt the carb because of a flooding problem that started when I ran out of gas while driving. Now when I turn the car over gas just fills the carb and it leaks out of everywhere.. Replaced the entire float system and problem still persists. Any thoughts?

You need to set the float height according to the rebuild instructions. While [lightly] pushing the end of the float (with the needle valve) down so that the valve is just closed, you measure from the other end of the float to the top of the bowl casting. If it needs adjustment, you bend the metal float arm.

Thank you very much. I was pulling my hair out here.. Only bad part is taking it back apart but if its fixable then it's worth it. Thanks again. Sorry for posting on tech and in general everybody!
