Just noticed my windscreen had slipped down about 5 mm on one side.
Looks like the rubber support on this side has worn.
Anyone advise how I might move this back up and re support, have tried to coax it back up but seems to have set this way.

Your windscreen (we would call a windshield) needs to be pulled out, cleaned up and reset. It is likely "torqued" out of position and attempting to shimmy it back up will risk breaking it.
There is a good chance if you go to a glass shop and ask for it to be removed they will not guarantee not to break the windshield. It can be cut out carefully with thin wire or even some of the new braided fishing line.
I had a 69 tri power car in a few years back that had the same problem with a perfect windshield and the owner wanted it moved but not removed.
I siliconed a 3"x6" piece of sheet metal with lots of holes in it to each side of the windshield. I attached 3 braided wires to each piece of metal and brought them all to the top of the windshield to a turnbuckle type of contraption. I cranked up the tension on each wire and set the car out in the sun. It took about 3 days and the windshield moved back up. Naturally if your windscreen is not a keeper it wouldnt be worth this kind of effort. Good luck
Hi patto,
Since you used the term 'windscreen', I figure you're in England or Europe; maybe Australia. If so, congratulations on having a CORVETTE!!!

I would say this is the original.
Tempered I think we call safety, that is if shattered if breaks into small fragments rather than shards, this looks like safety/tempered.

Our side glasses are tempered and break into small fragments but our windshields are laminated and are 2 layers of glass with a thin film of plastic between them that are designed (I think) to contain and cushion the blow to passengers.
