Call me stupid but we did it again...this one makes a threesome! 1972 LT1 Coupe with air. Sunflower Yellow with a black deluxe interior 82K miles and looks like a pretty solid original piece. I sure hope the car market comes back for us all. Oh well, if it doesn't I know I can say I had fun. At any rate, I had to show it off to you all and I certainly hope everybody had a wonderful 4th.

the number I hear is 240 a/c LT-1's for 1972, but like the big block 427's for 1967, I'm sure there are lot more a/c lt-1's than the general produced!
WRONG! unlike 69 Z/28 Camaros, the 72 GM cars have engine code in VIN tag on windshield pillar, it's SERIOUS FBI time if you start to change these numbers, not worth the risk involved. C-60 LT-1 production is 278 units in 72 last time I heard the figure. I'll take my LT-1's without A/C after having owned one (my first Vette) and suffered through the valve adjustment proceedure with a big old Harrison A/C compressor on the passenger side of the motor.

Is the code for A/C in the VIN as well?
For whatever reason, it seems like this is the hot collector-car combo at the moment. Or maybe of the moment just-passed, as I've seen a number of these for sale, and remaining for sale, at 435hp-prices.
