Fixing post mirror
Well not what I thought I would find. first off a deer hit my car and only sheered off the (driver side) mirror .So after posting some how do do it on the forum ,I got roll the window out of the way loose it up and lean it back on the felt. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIiwish for some reason mine
(1975) is boxed in the only way to get to it would be to go clear down to the skin I would be bubba trying to do all that. So where the bolts sheered off I drilled them out and used a mgnet to get all the shavings and re- tapped them it worked like a charm I now have A mirror again But short of drilling some Holes in that channel I do not see how the darn thing was put on it looks like when it was just the skin they riveted a plate under where the mirror attatched. As it was I did not really even need to take the door panel off but while I had it off I de-tailed it anyway .
