Default question about weatherstriping

My 73 needs new weather striping and was looking at 2 different kits.

the first is the metro super soft kit

and the other is

the kit from zip

i have read some reviews on the metro ss kit but just wondering if anyone has any opinion about the two kits

Hi 73,
I used Metro SS weather stripping on my 71 and am pleased with it so far.
Do you know what manufacturer's weather stripping Zip is selling?
Regards,
Alan

A lot vendors get their weather strip kits from Corvette Rubber. You might pay less buying directly from the manufacturer.

zip doesnt list a manufacturer but i saw alot that said crc usa made for the source.

ive read a bunch of posts about different kits and stiffness with the metro ss kit being mentioned as a more pliable solution but i figured i would look at all the options but as of now im looking mainly at the metro kit

I got a kit from Atlanta Corvette- The Last Detail. Very nice stuff. I don't recall who they said it was made by, but the fit was exactly correct and it was less money than everyone I'd looked at.

I used the Metro Supersoft when I replaced my T Top weatherstriping, and Doc Rebuild's on all the other weatherstriping (doors, pillars, etc.). Both have been holding up well with no problems, and both were a perfect fit for their applications.
