Door Glass Replacement
I need to replace the door glass on my 69 vert, it is an early car, so I have bought new rollers ect, including the late style window lift bar.
Has anyone else replaced thier windows and can offer some pointers and advice?

Don't do it if you don't have to. Major PITA and dangerous. If you can live with what you have, make your peace.
80 and up door glasses will fit, but they are thinner glass and lighter. You will want the older, heavier glass. If you are concerned with judging, you will want to check date codes. If your car has the optional tinted windows, you will want the tint.

I just removed both door glasses to replace the rollers, it was easier than I thought, just be careful not to break anything, a helper is a must, although I did everything myself, but why take a chance?
