minor leak
so i started replacing the carpet in the stingray today... and hit a snafu.
i have a minor leak coming from behind the center console and it drains down over the transmission housing into the floorboard of the driver side.
I checked the water cowl for the wipers and it seems to be solid. Any other suggestions ? could it be the windshield seal ?
troubleshooting ideas?

Under the wiper area there is some dried out looking stuff, looks like lava if you ask me that area is the problem area normaly. the other is the t-top gasket it lets it leak inside(or at least seem like it) the bird cage.Normaly comes right down on the top of the left foot.right over the fuse area.Look at those locations first.

Get black ribbon caulk from NAPA/etc for about $16. Use between front window glass and stainless trim. Then in a dark area, like the garage, use a flashlight both inside and at the firewall to check for light coming through - then plug those leaks.

the leak is on the driver's side right. runs behind the central duct work and then over the transmission housing... does this give you anymore ideas ?
how to fix would also need to be explained to me .. i can't pull my engine and that stuff, it is my daily driver at the moment.
