Man what great ideas. I think I'll go apply for a refi now. I wonder if Obama will float me a loan?

Seriously, thank you all for the ideas.

Hello,

In regards to flooring, i've noticed the black and white peel and stick
vinyl tiles on some floors. I'm guessing they were made for indoor use.
For those who have applied in the garage, how well have they held up?
Can you clean up oil and grease from them?

Also, I have a standard size 2 stall garage. What is the lowest allowable
ceiling height for a lift.

Thanks.

Rudy

Rudy, it depends on the type of lift, you can get lifts that just lift the car off the floor for maintenance, or the ones that lift it high enough for parking another car underneath...depends on your application.

Hello,

In my dream garage, I was thinking of the one that lifts the car high
enough to get underneath. How tall of a ceiling would I be able to get
away with?

I went to the garage photos in the forum and found a pic of
BLUBULIT's garage.

I love it - It has the black and white vinyl tile floor with the
blue four post lift that had a mid year on top and a C5 convertible
below.

I realize their garage is much larger than mine and was hoping
that it would work in mine without having to do any structural changes
to my ceiling.

Thanks.

Rudy

i beleive to get a 4 post lift you need at least a 10 foot ceiling.
