3rd Tail Light

Does anyone make a third tail light for the C3. Was thinking it might look good. Thought about having a LED wide and narrow right along the top of the rear.

Seen a third brake light on a 1970, looked way out of place.

In my opinion, exterior mods should fit the era, and there were definitely no third brake lights available before 1985/1986.

If you have a spoiler or a wing, might look good on the trailing edge. Otherwise might look out of place. /:\

That is where I was thinking, in the edge or the spoiler. What year C3 came with the little spoiler on them?

A forum member placed one inside, at the top center of the interior trim right in front of the rear window (not a bubble style, though you could do the same thing). You hardly noticed it until the brake lights were on. Do a search, the pics may be there.

'78 Pace cars came from the factory that way. Lots of other rubber bumper C3's put that one on. '80-82 has a small spoiler molded into the bumper cover. The aftermarket made a bunch of different styles (some looking better than others). /:\
