1971 coupe where did you run the wires from the amp (in the rear) to the front speakers and radio. Every thing is out so down the middle or under the seats down the side. What would be the cleanest way.
Since everything is out. I would run all speaker wire and low level RCA's through the center console. Depending if your using amplifiers, power to the battery and keep your grounds together and mount ground as close to amps as possible.

I think what he means, is, keep the power and ground away from all the speaker wires and RCA cables. It causes problems that you don't want.
I did mine not too long ago, and I don't have any problems.
keep the ground/power wires away from teh speaker wires...sometimes you can pickup a 'buzz/hmmmm'.... also make sure you have good grounds and inline fuses to the amp... don't use crappy rca's either... spend the money and get good rcas
I ran mine through the courtesy light access, under the carpet, over the wheel well, behind the quarter trim panel, along the curve where the floor meets the door sill. Basically I followed the path the antenna cable takes on both sides.
Amp is mounted on a 14" by 15" board with power and ground cables running under the carpet to the battery box under the storage compartment frame.
Low profile sub box with 10" Kenwood sits next to the board above and takes up remaining floor space (about 15") to the other wheel well.
Some progress got the amp mounted where I wanted it the sub is almost finished needs to be covered with some fabric. Ordered new
speaker mounts for the dash since I didn't want to cut the originals. I will post pics of that when I do it. Here are some pics.
