I was quoted $75 a rim to powdercoat (which I was told was high)
I painted them myself for $20.

Not sure what you are doing, but I had a set of polished aluminum wheels clear powdercoated and I would NEVER do it again. It looked ok for a couple years but now its starting to peal off in spots.

I would rather put a little elbow grease in and polish them, looks better than the powdercoat and no pealing! Just my 2cents.

You didn't mention if you had a paticular type wheel or special color in mind but if you don't go the powder coat route you may want to take a look at this. http://www.duplicolor.com/products/wheel.html

I just had 4 rally's off my '75 sandblasted, primed & painted for $250 outside of Philly.

Then put new rubber all around. BFG 245/60/15.

A good day!

I took my stock wheels off for some TT's, but I still have them. I may have my stock wheels blasted and powder coated for the future in case I ever go back to stock.
