I bought the VB&P setup. Easy to install. Toughest part was getting the old stuff off. VB&P had a terrible instruction DVD they sent. The thing was totally useless. Used the instructions from Steeroids. The systems are practically identical. VB&P was supposed to have a bet stronger bracket set at that time and was about $100 cheaper.
I Just bought the VB&P Rack Attack system as well. Waiting for delivery along with all new suspension components. I hope to get it on the frame over the next month so I am glad to hear that it is relatively easy to install but disappointed to hear that the video is not helpful. Maybe they have improved the video (wishful thinking).
I have installed 2 Steeroids and one Vb rack. They are almost identical. The tie rod ends are slightly different. Either system will perform very well. The install is easy, I have a lift. I never looked at the instructions, pretty straight forward install. Recomend either kit. Hooker side pipe cars will require a slight dimple in one header tube. My Hooker Super Comps did not require any dimple. Your car may vary.

Raphiki,
Sorry about that DVD. It was not made with the Rack & Pinion kit in mind. It is more of a general thing with info on several different products. The written instructions should have been supplied with the kit and are quite good (or so I have been told) …
Sincerely,
Alan G.
