71 Corvette Coupe value
he is asking $14,500 for the car. is this a good deal assuming that everything he is saying is correct?
I know a 71 may not be as desireable to some as a 69, but I would assume that any of the c3 chrome bumper cars would be desireable..
What would a fully restored matching number 71 be worth in this market?

The only way you can start guessing is to assume "uh... I don't know" is code for "no, the numbers don't match." And therefore, the price is too high.
On the plus side: air, nice options good color (but only if the trim tag matches). Obviously being a coupe will keep the price down a bit.
You need to look closely before coming up with a ballpark, here.
Any pictures that aren't so tiny?

As VB said you need to know SO MUCH more about this car to form any serious opinion of it's value.
The ad says 'restored', you say 'fully restored', what do those words mean to the seller and to you?
Need lots of information and lots of pictures to even make a guess that is meaningful.

Alan
He sold me his 3 owner all original 39,000 mile beauty...
It has its original War Bonnet Yellow paint with Saddle interior.
I looked at no less than 30 cars before settling on this one.. Let me tell you, there is a lot of junk out there for extremely high prices with NOM, 5 repaints of a different color, and other mods. This one is as stock as you can get except for an Edelbrock carb, and LT1 valve covers. i do have the original Quadrajet which I plan on rebuilding and installing.
I bought the car for a very fair price and will continue to enjoy it for years to come..
Thanks again JW72...
