Loved the rant response. Still LOL.

That thing would be great for target practice though. Then send what's left to be recycled as razor blades. At least then it would provide -some- value.

Oh ya and if it's not a kit car what the hell is it??? A production car they made on Mars 20 years ago??? Do everyone a favor and recycle all that tin foil you used to make that thing. You should return all the home depot rivets too
I love this remark...

As you guys know I try to appeal to people not to trash things just for the sake of being Snide jaskasses, but there is always that exception,
And granted this isn't even a Vette,

I first found it several months ago, being said it was Silva built I posted it on the Mako Forum where all things Silva are "God"
It received the same type welcome on the Mako forum as it did from the person who took time out of their life and didn't have anything better to do than write the rant ad on GL,
When I just went to my Mako post much to my dismay it had been edited down to just my post and one kind reply, seems the seller is a member of the Mako forum,

For me trashing this poor car is a kin to shooting a fellow in a wheelchair,
If a car is a hack job I will post it and say so,
But the ad talking how rare it is and how it will be worth a ton when done, A "ton" of what?
When sellers get a bit too arrogant I have no problem seeing them get it handed back at them,

I have no idea if it is really a Silva car or not but my pet peeve is hack jobs, rolling yard art that just adds fodder for criticism of customs,

The bodywork ( I use that term loosely ) is bad, and unfinished and not symmetrical,
Okay, they admit it's a project, ( I would have awarded far more respect if the whole thing was paint bombed flat black,) but the Hood, rear bumper, rear hatch, and even the ACI style turbo wing are NOT Silva one offs but aftremarket parts sold for those Camaros back then,

All I can see that is one off is the odd front and rear extended lower valances and spoilers, that I don't believe would make it thru many inclines in a normal days driving,

I had a redneck buddy that if you included the buying price had about 30K in a rolling art piece like this, he was thankful when a biker dude paid 800.00 to haul it off,

I will just end it but saying if the thing was finished out and well built I would defend it but in this condition who could defend it?

He should take your 2K offer and feel happy he didnt have to pay a junkyard to haul it off,
