Default Motor Rebuild Help

I am having my motor & transmission rebuilt (350, 200 horse, auto) in my '72. Sometimes it's the little things that make a difference while the motor is apart. I am going 20 over and having 10.5-1 compression piston put in with a mild cam to bump up the horsepower to 300. I would like some thoughts on your experiences on some things maybe you wish you could do over. Nothing major.
This site has been a big help for a rookie like myself.
Thanks, Chris

The best thing you can do for any production engine you are building is to balance the engine. It will add much needed longivity to the build.
My 2 cents!
