Aftermarket. Moonroofs have the panel which can be painted to match the exterior color.

I don't know whether the tops are still in production. Try finding them through Google. Used tops sometimes show up on eBay.

They have LOF glass in them. Actually pretty cool. No longer made.
I have 3 sets and love them. You could get different tints including mirrored. You see a lot of these still used on modified cars like my wagon. Adds headroom like the GM glass tops.
Rumor has it that they were supposed to be offered as an option on the 77 models, but never made it to production.
You can find both styles out there, as the top attaching points are different from 77 to 78. Mine use the GM weatherstripping and the hardware.
Its personal taste, but I really like them. I got a set at Carlisle last year that were excellent for 400 bucks.
Hope this helps.

They were made by an outfit called Sun International.

They dont look like they are all that hard to find, I just found 2 pairs of them currently for sale on ebay moments ago.

Check em out and good luck.

I have these. Moon roofs. They were made in 1977 only, as an aftermarket top. And they are hard to find in GOOD condition. I went through buying 3 sets online before finding a good pair. Since they are so old they tend to have issues with glue seperation of the glass from the fiberglass and other issues. So be cautious if buying unseen.

Default Gold mirrored

I just inherited a 75 Stingray from my father. It has gold mirrored t tops which I wanted to swap out for a set of factory ones. I'm painting the car a bluish purple and think the gold would look a bit odd. There in like new condition. Anybody know what they might be worth?
