What a deal 20K OBO and it's almost complete but no worries be "assured" all the interior parts come with it. I'm sure they do and every last piece is there. I wonder what color they are??? "Bats" nobody wants to sell these cars. I don't know what to tell you other then sooner or later you'll find the "right" car.

At $20K, the seller is trying to recover the cost of that paint.

I often wonder what's actually happened when they're half finished like this one... did the fellow just stop working on it yesterday and decide to sell it? What's he thinking when he comes up with a price like 20k?
Regards,
Alan

Great replies,

No, I don't want this one, just thought you guys would enjoy it,

While I defend peoples right to build what they want I extend that to pleasing themselves, When it comes time to sell all that "self expression" might hurt or even kill sales,

This car is not all that bad when you get past the paint that will really be a miracle if it appeals to anyone besides the builder, so that will hurt sales right off the top,

Hum why do people sell projects?
Good question,
I have a back yard full of projects, I call it "Yard art" If I loose motivation on one project I buy another, but all are making way for the Mako...life with one project,

My Laser 917 kit car has an honest weekends work to be a driver and that is 18 months and counting,
Wife says to me, sell it as a project. get it out of your hair, avoid the stress, but in the case of the laser that is a big difference in price, as is, it might fetch 3K but a sound driver heck at the right show I might score 8-10K makes that much difference with a car like it,
So I have to finish it, but health limits what I can do when I want to,

I guess when a project like the car I started this thread over gets posted for sale something happened,
My guess in most cases lack of time, skills and money in no specific order,

The sad part to me is someone's dream died....

(although in this case nightmare ) People tend to under estimate the time, skill, and money it takes to complete a project.
