So I have come to the conclusion that she WAS a 1969. She now has the greenwood turbo GT body kit added to her. A custom of some kind, what are you thinking in value?? Less for the differences or more for the effort?? Rather, what do I do with her?
I really appreciate all the input from you all. Your knowledge is priceless!
This kind of mashups have no value. I would not buy that car for 5k.
Not sure what your inspiration is. If you are into total customs, go for it. Don't expect much out of it when/if you sell it.
If you are looking for something that will hold it's value, look for an original or near original car.
That car is not a mako or manta. It's bubba
I bought a 69 big block corvette with a crate motor. Not that I don't like original cars, but just could not afford an original big block. Other than the motor, it's fairly stock.
Cool looking car. Drive the heck out of it and enjoy!
..........HEY! it looks like it has the '82 C.E. hatch set up on it. It may not be worth a collector value, but like I said, it sure would be cool to cruise around in.
As a driver, I don't think I will be able. I am looking at finding new homes for the 30+ collectors that I have found. Ranging in 60-70s model chevelles, camaros, a single vette, bel air, some street rods and etc. If you have an offer or have anyone interested in those style bodies feel free to contact me!
... Guys and gals, I need some help. What is she? ...
It's called a cafe racer, modified to look like 80-. While cafe racers may attract the attention of police, they need not worry as cafe racers are typically slower than stock & not likely to race anyone.

Looks a hell of a lot better cleaned up.
I'm confused here, you're not going to drive it, but find a collector for it?
Seems like it would be a fun car to mess around with, go to some cruises and so on.
Looks very nice cleaned up. Assuming it's structurally and mechanically sound, I'm thinking you would have to find someone who was into customs if you planned to sell it. The other question is why was it customized, was it a wreck/recovery? Is it a salvage title? Those kind of things can hurt the value.
Good luck with it, it is at least a nice looking custom "era" car.

She's got a green title and no frame damage. I have been told that in the 70s and 80s there was a surplus of these 69 vettes. That could account for why he added a body kit. I do know that the man who owned it before me was a body man. If you notice the front head lamps have been covered over and dropped to the lower well. I know for a fact he did that.
The block number is VC530TJC (at least thats what it looks like) So probably not the original. BUT there is a shop out back with motors he pulled out of several cars to put 427s and 454s in them instead. I will look at those to try and find a match.
I will soon be posting a list of pictures of the cars/trucks that were also discovered. Some are Very Good, some not so good.

Most chevy small blocks that begin with "t" are truck motors. TJC looks like a 1973 C-20 350, 160 HP 4 barrel.
