Nice. i like the side pipe covers. looks like their from Dean on the forum. I was nervous they would stick out but they blend in nicely with the hooker tubes.
What a pleasant surprise to see the "beast" here! Thanks Craig.
Rick, as you know parts of your 68 parts car made the beast whole again!
3JsVette, How is your build progressing? I want photos and a sound clip of that monster bb when you fire it, gotta make sure that Holley 850 is doing it's job.
68 NJconv 454, the side shields are from Dean and they fit and look great.
Gary (GTR1999), The trailing arms are performing flawlessly, thanks for the fine job on the rebuild.
Thanks guys for the comments, highly appreciated. At times it was a frustrating road but the end result was well worth it. Plus I had Craig (Glassman74) and Rick (DZRick) keeping me in line and pushing on.
The white Camaro in the upper right corner of one of the photos and parked next to the beast in another photo is my son's car. Has a very healthy 454 pushing it down the road.

That looks like a nice '69 and you know how much I like those. A big block to boot, doesn't get much better
Great looking car. I thought it was black at first too!
I'm a very stock guy but the wheels really look good on it and set the car apart from all the rest.
Regards,
Alan
Hey, I think I've seen that beast once or twice...matter of fact, last weekend rolling down Alvarado cruise night "Cherry Jubliee" Looked hot...and sounded hottttt !!! Very nice work Tom...enjoy! Muddy
I too thought it was black at first. Very good job, Daddy likes.
Did you re-do your top yourself or have it done cause it looks nice and tight with no waves in the rear window.

My neighbor owns an upholstery shop so I had him install the top and install the carpets. C-5 seats are inside and they were in excellent shape so no work needed on them.

Hey Don,
We did in fact chase each other most of last week at all of the events. Just came in from the garage fixing things I noticed while breaking in the beast.
Thanks my friend, it means a lot coming from you because you have one fine ride which I try to aspire to.
That is one sweet vette. I just added your pics to my "favorites" collection. Those look like AR wheels; used to have them on my Camaro back in the day. I know you have been having fun building and more fun showing off . . . great job
