My Mako-inspired paint on my '68 roadster in 1979.

The Motion Phase GT Paint does little for me,

The Faded two tone Mako Shark paint is pretty darn sweet on any C3.
It's not unlike a 78 pace car idea,
Dark on top, light on the rockers just on a Mako the light is faded in, no sharp line,
I have seen it with many different top dark colors but the Mako was a very dark blue,
I was going to do mine that way but black on top,

I would think that the bottom color would have to 'feather-in' with the darker color somewhere below the horizontal break-line on the car. It should be all dark color until below the break-line or it won't really give you that Mako-shark look.
