anyone know this car??
IF someone felt (or had been told) the car would in fact be invited for BOWTIE judging, and felt it would be successful in obtaining all 4 Stars, and that would make them really happy and proud, and they had the money.... why not?
It seems like a LOT of money!
Regards,
Alan
The word "survivor" says to me this won't won't be the most reliable or well driving Vette avalible. I would rather have a car I can use to have some fun in.
I actually bought a original owner 70 LT-1 coupe but the thought of the car getting hit by a illegal alien blowing a stop sign, made my stomache churn every time I drove it so, I sold it.
I guess if you want to trailer the Vette to Bloomington, or Carlisle and show it at the event, OK but, I like to drive my Vettes.
Quick look at the Vette, master cylinder is a replacment, water pump pully is wrong, missing emissions equipment with correct dating can be VERY EXPENSIVE to locate. Price seems about $15K too high even if it has full documentation.

If you're paying a premium for this car's survivor status then I guess a repaint would hurt its value. That would perhaps make it pointless paying this premium instead of finding a Vette that was already repainted, was therefore not a coveted 'survivor', and was priced lower.
Just a thought
Are all sales final or if you get the car and it not what you expected can you ship it back for a refund? Spending that kind of money I would think that could be part of the deal
I would keep your car, but it's your money.....enjoy it!Although the LT1 is a fantastic car, I didn't realize that the LT1 brings double or more than the LS5 for the same condition.

To me, a "survivor" car is a car that has just been maintained properly and is wearing the original paint in and out, original interior....etc. I wouldn't expect the original wear & tear items to be on the car (brake pads, tires, etc).
Production numbers by color & model seem to be non existent for this year!
Keep your car!!!
