I have a 1970 L46 350/350, no A/C. I have no expansion tank, did this model come with a aluminum Harrison expansion tank? If so, does anyone have pictures of it location and hose route setup.
No, it didn't. My '70 350/350 with no A/C had the "dimples" in the glass where the tank would go, but no tank was ever installed.
Same as mine. If I want to keep it original, what is the correct overflow hose from radiator. Looked at Doc Rebuild - but all overflow hoses go to the expansion tank.
This has been debated. I've seen both with & without expansion tanks.

Hey, that's my engine! Thanks for posting!!
I couldn't remember who's it was! I while back I requested pics of L-46 engine bays so I could get mine back to the way it should be, and filed all the pics posted for my reference.

GD70 is correct. This has been hotly debated. Do a search on the NCRS site for a lot of information.
The 69 Judging guide says they did come with the expansion tank for '69, but upon further review it's been established that quite simply, some 350 hps came with the aluminum radiator, which in turn came with the expansion tank, and some 350 hp cars came with the copper radiator, which came with no tank. I've seen examples of both. Heck, I've OWNED examples of both!
