Does anyone know of auto dismatlers that have older cars in Texas? The closer to Houston the better.

Trying to locate an original thermostat housing for a 69 chevy sb, metal cap for power steering, radiator cap and some square tang hose clamps.

Who knows what else I might find that would probably become future garage sale items.

There is a small wrecking yard just a few miles north of Huntsville on Int. 45 somewhere around mile marker 125 that I pass every time I visit my daughter in Huntsville. They have what appears to be 25-50 cars of 50-60's vintage. I dont even know their name or even if they are selling parts. I keep saying to myself I need to jump off the interstate and walk thru the place.

Contact Corvettes of Houston. They may have info on parts sources.

Good luck with the hunt.

When we were down in Corpus someone mentioned that there was a Vette-only yard down that way.

You may want to post something in the SW Regional section.

There's a vette junkyard in San Antonio. Don't know name but took a stroll through it while visiting friend there a couple years ago. It was smalltime type place where owner still got his hands dirty but was a very friendly guy and could possibly help you out.

Gary used to live in Texas...does that count? I bet he could find what you are looking for.
