valve sizes
I'm trying to build a chevy 350 using camel humps. I'd like to use a set with 2.02/1.60 valves, but don't want to do overkill on the valve size. I have to use factory OEM intake heads and exhaust. I think I'm limited to the 2" exhaust manifolds (non-corvette ram horn type).
So I have a 3927184 intake which was on the 300 and 350 HP Chevy 350. I also have some 3927186 with 2.02 and 1.60 valves. I have some other heads with smaller valves but would like to use these 3927186 because they have screw in studs and guideplates. My question is: did the 350 HP Chevy 350 ever use 2.02/1.6 valves or were they the smaller ones. I'd like to stick with the quadrajet.
Or were the 2.02/1.60 only used with the aluminum hi rise intakes?
