Default 73 cracked frame

I'm new to corvettes but lucked out with a 73 with very little rust.
however after body off inspection i noticed the left frame rail under the door is cracked. Can I replace without a jig or does it need to go to a frame shop. Also where is the best place to get frame parts.

I am far from a frame expert, but I think the folks who can help you are going to have to see pictures. What are we talking about here? Like a crack a few inches long that a little MIG welding will make all better, or something more? What direction is the crack? What is the condition of the metal around it?

Need a picture. Could be minor or major.
