Lost trim tag
now bloomington gold is another story, you can get your car disqualified ( don't know if they put it in a blacklist database) if 2 judges agree that it appears that numbers or trim/VIN plates were altered to deceive the judges relative to factory authentic color, trim, horsepower or CID. at this point your money is gone and your car is not judged further...
alot of people have paid alot of money to get this little surprise....
a C2 thru early C3 costs 575$ to be judged by Bloomington Gold. just to get a report from BG of previous judging is 100.. it is 300 at NCRS... then you have questions of what exactly is in the report, due to privacy issues, who knows... the ncrs actually keeps your 300$ even if the car is not in the database.. wow 300$ for them to tell you no it has not been judged...
perhaps I am rambling, but you think I will ever get my car judged?
the point here is that the OP would be taking a big risk in resale and in judging by buying this car in question.
The NCRS judging process will stop if a car has a bogus VIN, ie neither GM or state issued. An owner can repeatedly present the same car over and over if he wants.
