Default AC/Heater duct missing.

I'm tearing my dash apart to change the heater core,
I want to clean and lube all the fittings behind the dash while i'm in there too.

I found that the duct system is missing from under the drivers side, does anyone know where to find that part?

also, what's a good lube for all the moving pieces in the dash.

That duct is available from some of the aftermarket suppliers, but the prices are absurd. You can usually find those at some Corvette swap meets or from Corvette salvage facilities for less expense.

What "moving things" do you have in the dash area? If you are speaking about sliding metal-on-metal items or linkage arms, etc, you want to use lithium grease--from a tube, not a spray can. That is what was used at the factory and, as far as I know, it hasn't really been improved upon.

Yes, exactly, AC/heater linkage and any other moving parts.
the metal is kinda brown from age and needs to be broken loose.
(it came outa 10 year storage)

That's the piece exactly!
Time to hit up the corvette swaps

The old owner stopped by yesterday and dropped off a dash-steerring wheel cover.
I mentioned the missing duct and he got this look of recognition on his face,
he thinks he still has that too.
