Default Trans/fly wheel dust cover

Good afternoon,

I am trying to find a dust cover which fits to a TH 350 1981, The bolt holes on my trans are,

Two At the bottom flat surface.

two on each side of the sloped surface.

The unit that I purchased has two hole at the bottom and two hole at the very top of the cover. There are no holes on the Trans case to mate to those holes.

Checked with the local Chevy dealer and they show what I described above.

Any ideas?

If you are not doing the ncrs thing couldnt you just add the required holes to the dust cover?

Thanks that was one of my alternative thoughts. I just thought there may be a unit the fits with out drilling.

Thanks

Well, I tried to drill out to fit, The curve of the cover overhangs the holes in the trans. About 3/8" to wide. Must be some other type of cover. The tag on the trans has an F and W on either side of the tag.
