I accidently locked my keys in my 1978 Corvette and I don't have a spare. Is there any way I can a spare from Chevrolet or is there any other way to get in the car.
YES, JUST GET A FIST SIZED ROCK AND THROW IT THROUGH THE WINDOW. i did this on a nova once when we were ice skating and freezing our -ss off. any locksmith should be able to get in.
Your local GM dealer probably has what is called a slim jim. It's a flat flexible metal strap with a hook shaped cutout on the end for sliding down the the inside of the door outside of the glass and catching the rod which is connected to the lock mechanism. The local dealer here does house calls so maybe yours does too.

I have had the dealer run the vin # and was able to get keys cut from that. My local guy has done it several times on our trucks and I would think that they can do it for yours also .

A Vette is difficult with a slim jim because of the covers in side the doors around the door lock mech.
I recall reading something on here about being able to pop the T-top off by going in between the window and T-top weatherstrip with some kind of rigged up tool.
