Hello from Ireland I am looking to upgrade my wheels on a 71 vette (my peide and joy) I currently have the original rally style which are great but i am looking for something more sporty and advice pics etc would be greatly appreciated. It also has the standard 350 ci 275 hp engine which I am looking to beef up. prob upgrade the carb and manifold intake along with new cams also disconnecting the a/c for a extra bit of hp finishing off with a nice set of side pipes. I would love to hear from anyone who has carried out these minor mods your thoughts, suggestions etc.
If you like the "period correct" look take a look at http://www.etwheels.com/ and www.vintagewheelworks.com . Several forum members have delt with both companies and have been very satisfied. I delt with the former of the two and could not be more satisfied with the product and customer service.

Since you are modernizing the wheels, you might as well buy newer 'looking' wheels & tires that are more readily available. 15" wheels and tires are becoming scarce with few choices; 16"-18" wheels are plentiful as are 50 series tires to fit them. Consider that option rather than staying with 15" rims.
