Black Friday VS. Corvette
Did anybody brave the crowds and crazy drivers today to venture out with their Vette's??
I waited 'till about 5:00PM and got out. Stayed mostly on the back roads. Didn't dare go near any shopping centers. Did stop for a bite to eat and was able to park in a non-jam-packed part of the restaurants parking lot.
Blue skies, warm air, let 'em shop.........I'll drive.
I put in a new clutch linkage in my '71, put the top down and cruised around my quiet neighborhood for a bit. It was sunny and 50°. Not too shabby for a November day.

I did do some shopping today. Took the Grand Prix GT though.

Sorry to hear about that.
It was a beautiful day today, Sat., so I got the '75 out again. Other than a couple of idiots trying to tailgate me, everything was good.

Nah, put 50 miles on the bike before taking it to storage.....75 degrees an awesome here. Drove the Vette today though.
I worked Black Friday but my 12.5 mile commute home usually takes 35 to 45 minutes so with the holiday shopper traffic I expected the worst. To my surprise I was home in 20 minutes. Commuting is nice when most of the cars on the road are parked in the mall and shopping center lots.

Hellz, It hadn't started raining like the forcast had predicted last night so I pulled the '75 out again today. God.........I love that car. It's not as refined as the '04. But the classic Vette's have a "Cool Factor" all to their own.
I enjoy seeing the looks on little kids faces as I cruise by......just like I use to look, back when I was a kid, and the C3's were new.
