One little bulb wasn't enough so I had to install outlets and shop lights.
Now she's inside.
My friend from work came over and helped me put her on jack stands. Removed the wheels and sent them to be stripped and powder coated.
I've already replaced the ignition lock and fixed the horn. First BIG project is to bring the brakes up to par. Removed the calipers and rotors from the front.
This used to be brake fluid.
A leaky mess. Pads are saturated. No wonder she wouldn't stop.
Ready for new stuff.
Now to pull the rears. I ordered the brake kit with new calipers, lines and master cylinder today.
Looks like you're off to a good start. Be careful, some guysbhave started off with smaller projects, ie replacing a fuse, and ended up with a full body off resto.
It's known as the "while I'm at it should I" and can get addicting.
